Expansion of 2257 regulations will squash adult networking sites such as bondage.com and gay.com personals, further extending invasion of privacy of people who aren't even "industry professionals." ("The regulations would allow the Attorney General to conduct warrantless searches at will on the sites’ records, including your personal information....There are few safeguards over what the FBI can do with the information it obtains.")
article on broader considerations, including chilling effects on sexual expression including new regulation of "lascivious exhibition of genitals" and "simulated" sexual activities.
Public comment period ends September 10.
